My name is Katie, and I’m just a girl who happens to LOVE traveling AND writing. One day, I decided to try my hand at combining the two,..AAANND HERE WE ARE! As far as my history goes, I grew up in a small town in rural Mississippi and cherish my southern roots. When I was a child, my mother and I used to daydream about exploring different landmarks and venturing to other countries while reading travel magazines together. From a very young age, this instilled in me a cultural curiosity and a drive to explore. Throughout my life, I have never lost that itch to travel and explore. I have been to every continental state within the US and set foot in more than 20 different countries. I have seen many landmarks and planned numerous vacations both personally and professionally. I have always kept a travel journal for personal use, but recently decided to try my hand at sharing some of my experiences through social media and blogging. I pride myself on being an expert at money-saving travel while also maintaining an unforgettable vacation experience.
